Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Makes: 4 serves

Ingredients you will need:

  • 250 gm spiral pasta
  • 450 gm chicken breast
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 3 tsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. butter

    Alfredo Sauce

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to make this recipe:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside. Save 1/4 cup pasta water to use later.
  2. Cut chicken into fillets. Season the chicken on both sides with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and cover with foil, set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add butter and cream. Stir until the butter has melted, then add minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Allow to simmer, until slightly thickened.
  4. Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix in pasta and coat well with the sauce.
  5. Serve pasta with sliced chicken on top.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with side salad or steamed vegetables, if desired.
