Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients you will need:
- 250 gm spiral pasta
- 450 gm chicken breast
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 3 tsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. butter
Alfredo Sauce - 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
How to make this recipe:
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside. Save 1/4 cup pasta water to use later.
- Cut chicken into fillets. Season the chicken on both sides with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and cover with foil, set aside.
- In the same pan, add butter and cream. Stir until the butter has melted, then add minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Allow to simmer, until slightly thickened.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix in pasta and coat well with the sauce.
- Serve pasta with sliced chicken on top.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with side salad or steamed vegetables, if desired.
