Oat and Sultana Biscuits
- 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
- 80g Butter
- ½ cup Rolled Oats
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Essence
- 1 Egg
- ¾ cup Sultanas
- 1/3 cup of Sugar
1. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl until light and smooth
2. Add egg and vanilla essence, fold in currents and sifted flour.
3. Place oats into a separate bowl.
4. Drop spoonsful of the mixture into the oats and roll into balls.
5. Place on baking and press flat and bake at 200C for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes approximately 16 biscuits.
