Chicken Paella
If you're an aficionado of Spanish Cuisine, then you'll quickly realise that this is far from traditional. But on a busy weeknight or a lazy weekend, it's easy, it's cheap and it's wholesome. The rich tomato rice, tender chicken pieces and crispy chirizo leave your tummy full and your heart satiated.
Makes: 4 Large Serves or 6 Small Serves
Total Time: 15 preparation + 20 minute cook time
To make this recipe you will need:
- 1 Chirizo sausage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Arborio Rice
- 1 Capsicum, thinly sliced
- 1 Onion, thinly sliced
- 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 x 400g can diced Tomatoes
- 400g Chicken Breast, cut into thin bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- Saffron
- Salt and Pepper to taste
